Wedding weekend

Sophie is wearing on of my sweaters from when I was a baby. It was a big hit among the guests. Perfect match to the cutest dress! Everyone thought she was adorable.

Our first "Me & Me" photo! I can't believe how much she actually looks like me. Change the eye color and WOW!

A very Happy Family!
Sophie sat very peacefully on a blanket during the ceremony.

5/19 It's Nick and Karen's wedding at the beautiful Park of Roses! We had a great time on this perfect day.

I was having fun taking some pictures of their candles.
Our bundle of joy fell asleep in Nana's arms. Here she is with us before we left.

5/18 Yesterday we celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary! Greg took the day off and came to Sophie's Dr appointments.

Little "mademoiselle" is in the 95th percentile for height and 50th for weight (i will post the exact #s soon). Long and lean just how we like it, right Grandad? Dr Anna said she was doing wonderful. Her teeth are perfect and eating habits amazing.
  • One of her new things is to arch her back now! This started Friday, May 18th. Boy is it fun to get used to! She has hit her head a few times on things when we weren't expecting it.
  • Her "lengthening" should slow down and her weight should catch up to even things out. In the meantime, she is a lean green bean, just like mama was! She had a great time with the nurse gettting her height and weight checked. Gotta love that crinkly paper! Sophie sat facing the mirror just tearing up the paper while playing with her keys and her buddy in the mirror. She poked her bottom lip out when Dr Anna listened to her heart, checked her ears and eyes and smiled at her when she picked her up and kissed her. The shots were not Sophie's favorite, but she did great once mama held her.
After shots, we did a little shopping. We found Sophie some shoes and a bow for aunt Karen's wedding. We are so excited! Stay tuned for some more photos.
  • 5/21 Sophie slept through the night!! She has done this before a long time ago when she was 3 or 4 months, but these past couple months she would wake up around 4am to be with mommy. We finally decided to work on it. It was a little tough the first two nights, but it worked for us last night.
