Dr.'s visit - 19 months!

Sophie had her 19 month check-up today and did great! Mom made a list of words she uses on a regular basis so that I could answer the question correctly when Dr. Anna asked us... At this age they are expected to know between 10 and 50 words. Being bilingual, Sophie surpassed those numbers!!! So far, we've written down 67 words!! And that's not counting her little expressions like "what's this?" "where did Lily go?" "Oh gosh" "Ewww gross!" "Ewww yucky!"...and the list goes on. She's definitely right around the corner from full sentences.

Anyway, her visit went very well. Sophie was thrilled to get weighed and measured!
Something us grown-ups don't alway enjoy! As a side note, I (Stephanie) was measured at the Dr's office this week and according the measurement, I "shrunk" 1/2 an inch!!! Not fair!!

At least Sophie's on the grow: since March 20th, she's grown 1 inch, now at 34" and that puts her in the 95th percentile for height!

Weight: she's gained 2 lbs since March 20th, now at 27lbs, putting her in the 75th percentile.

Her head is on the grow too now at 19" which is the 90th percentile. Must be all those words!! :)

Daddy's socks, Mom's bracelet, and a car! Wow, is she growing up fast!
