9/23 Sophie signed "eat" tonight for dinner and also said "manger" 3 times which means eat in French. Cute little frenchie!
Sophie has been sitting on the potty in the morning before her shower with daddy for months now. She has tinkled in it three times so far!! We sit her on her baby bjorn chair and within seconds she does her business! She's very proud of herself and claps when she's done.
Sophie has been saying "bonjour" for a couple of weeks now, with her own little accent ('bodio'), but Saturday (9/15), it was very clear!!! She kept saying it while waving. Last night Greg asked her if she wanted pizza, as a joke, and she said "pizza" back to him very clearly.
Sunday (9/16), Sophie "walked" forward two steps while holding on to the coffee table with her right hand.

My passion for photography is growing bigger every day!!! All I want to do is take pictures during the day! Now, I just need my own nice camera.
This evening was also the first time Sophie furniture walked. She pulled up on the couch at one end and "walked" to the other to try and get the remote. She also let go of Gabe's car seat and stood on her own for a few seconds. Should be walking in about 6 weeks!
Sophie now says "papa" for Greg. She started saying that last week as a very low whisper, but now knows how to say it very loudly. She rarely stops babbling and you can tell she understands a lot of what we say. She's using the "more" and "milk" baby signs, is a great "waver" and loves to share her pacifiers and food. It' s adorable to see her sharing! Another cute thing is when I ask her if she made a poopy she'll blow air out of her mouth and wave her hand in front of her face. So cute, she learned that from mom! She likes to shake her bottle when there's a clump just like we do to loosen one. As of this Sunday, 9/2, she's been patting me on the shoulder when she cuddles. This is just the beginning of her imitating us!

8/30 On this series of pictures that I took, Sophie is making funny faces. She does this grin a lot now and it cracks me up!
Sophie has been an extremely happy baby. We are truly blessed. She sleeps very well at night and takes a minimum of two long naps during the day. She's been teething (two top teeth) for the past 7 weeks and had an ear infection, but you wouldn't know looking at her: happy and smiling the whole time. Her new thing is to pull up whenever and wherever she can. At our house it's mainly on the coffee table. She will also crawl up to us when we're sitting on the floor and pull herself up to a standing position. It's quite comical at times because she doesn't always walk her feet up to be vertical, so she'll look at us with a little sad face asking: "what do I do now maman?" Standing in her crib is new as of this week. She used to wake up around 7am and then play for 30 to 45 minutes before asking to get out of her crib; now that she stands, she wants out sooner because she doesn't always want to let go on her own.
