3/16/07 Big girl holding her bottle. Mom had some milk left over from breakfast...
3/13/07 Sophie's first playground experience. :)
3/13/07 It's 75F, with a warm breeze, just perfect for napping.
Sophie was giggling when the wind blew on her face and through her hair. It was adorable.
3/7/07 Sophie in her booster seat!
She liked the tray with all the bright colors.
Sophie and Doudou her French bear getting ready to eat.
First bite wasn't her favorite...
YUMMY! She had three servings of cereal. Way to go healthy baby! By the way, she weighs 14 lbs now.
- Quick update! In the past couple of weeks, Sophie has discoverd her feet and won't let go of her hands. She puts them together and trys to put both of them in her mouth. As to her feet, she is trying to grab them, but can't reach just yet.
- On top of that, she is a talker. Her favorite spots to talk to us are on the changing table, in bed and in the car. It's very interesting watching her move her mouth and tongue to make different sounds.
- She's also been laughing more frequently. A sure way to get her to laugh is by tickling her. Just today, she laughed when I put her upside down and when she fell onto the couch after standing for a few seconds. The kids and I are having a blast noticing these new milestones and are looking forward to many more.
3/4/07 Sophie is old enough for exersaucers! This weekend was a Sophie buying weekend. She now has one exersaucer for work and one for home, a new changing table for the family room and a reclining booster seat to eat her cereal in.
She is having a blast in this!
I had to put some shoes on for her to touch the bottom!
This is the one that stays at home. It will later convert into a play table for when she can stand and walk.
Snug as a bug in a rug.
- It's March, Sophie is now 4 months and ready for her first spoon-fed meal! Last night we tried her first dose of Whole Grain Organic Rice Cereal. Grandad requested that we buy the "healthy" version. :) At first, Sophie choked on it so we had to stop the video camera and help her out before continuing. She then took several more spoonfuls with less and less of a funny face. We will try again tonight and this time I will make it with Mommy's milk, not formula. Below, is a photo of her spitting out her rice.
